Welcome!

Considering counselling can feel daunting, so congratulations in having the courage to take the first stepMy name is Danielle and I'm really looking forward to working with you. I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, working with adults, young people and older children in my practice in the peaceful, rural setting of Brill.

What I can offer you
I can offer you a warm, safe, confidential space in which you can unburden yourself of any worries you may have. I will work with you at your pace, to help you untangle these issues and make sense of what is bothering you. I will then support you while you try out different strategies and new ways of thinking to revitalise you, to effect change and enable you to move on
positively.

Covid-19

During this challenging time, I am offering counselling and supervision via online platforms. I aim to return to Face2Face work once it is safe to do so, but will continue to offer online sessions for those who prefer it or for whom geography is an impediment to meeting F2F.

Supervision
In addition to offering psychotherapeutic counselling, I also offer clinical supervision, with a concessionary rate for a limited number of L4 Counselling trainees. I offer non- clinical supervision to other professionals in the Education and Social Work sectors. Having worked in Education for 12 years, in a variety of roles, I am very familiar with the particular stresses in this field.

Qualifications

I completed my Humanistic Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling in 2011. This Diploma included Person- centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis (T.A). Subsequently, I have deepened my knowledge of T.A with a Post- graduate Foundation Year and extended my knowledge of C.B.T in 2015 with Child- centred C.B.T, focusing on imagery and metaphor.

Latterly, I have cemented my psychotherapeutic practice with a Post- graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I have extended my practice with a Post- graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision.

For the full range of my qualifications and C.P.D, please have a look under 'Qualifications'.

In all of my practice, I am guided by the ethics of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapists, (B.A.C.P) a professional body to which I belong, as a registered member. I also belong to its Private Practice division and am fully insured. I regularly attend Child Protection Training, actively engage in continued professional development and am enhanced D.B.S checked.
